Working in the Sunshine Coast

We are really struggling to find work and we are surviving on our last pennies. We are a couple and are staying with friends luckily on the sunshine coast but we are in danger of overstaying our welcome. Where can we find work near by as we don't have the funds to travel far? We were looking at strawberry picking but many of the advertisements say that the season is now over and we are unable to call them to ask as their numbers have been disconnected. Please help, we have hit been hitting the streets for 2/3 weeks with Resumes/CVs but nobody has come back to us. Please help and get back to us as crgilbert11@yahoo.co.uk.
