Student visa and family member

I would like to know if i can bring along a sibling with a holiday visa to work with me just for a few weeks? And where would most of the seasonal fruit picking jobs be during the month of December?

I am not sure how legal it is, but I have seen backpackers work as a team. One had a working holiday visa and the other two had tourist visa's. the farmer paid by the create, so they filled alot of creates and the farmer paid the guy who had the working holiday visa. They then split the money three ways. of course you would have to find a farmer wiling to turn a blind eye, because i really do think it is against the law.
