Tomato production back in Bundy
By Scott Lamond
Wednesday, 06/04/2011
Tomato production is bouncing back in south east Queensland.
Wet weather, the summer floods and even a severe case of spray drift cut production of Australia's largest grower by 50 per cent.
SP Exports is based near Bundaberg and managing director Andrew Philip says they're now on the road to recovery.
"The last couple of weeks with the weather becoming a little bit more favourable we're right into the start of our good season production out of Bundaberg and we're really looking forward to getting into some good numbers and good prices coming in to the next few months."
