Fruit picking/seasonal/specified work

Hi guys,

I've been living in Melbourne for the last 7 month, I am currently in NZ but due to return to Oz later this month.
I have now decided to undertake some fruit picking (nothing like leaving it to the last minute) to extend for another 12months. From my account I should be able to squeeze in the required work. Unfortunately will be very short on time.
Does anyone know the best way to go about sourcing work? I've sent some emails from sites I've found online but had no luck as yet.
Also am I right in thinking that if the farm considers the working week to be 5 days, then I would only need to complete 3months? What would happen if there was bad weather which limited me to working 3/0 days that week?
