Fruit Picking Victoria, has alot of opportunities for backpackers to earn extra money.

Fruit Picking Victoria, is quite physically hard work, and often the weather is very warm during summer and cold during winter. Victoria is an area which has a lot of fruit picking work for backpackers, and the backpacker accommodation in the area is setup for fruit pickers. Victoria is famous for its picking of Stone Fruits, Citrus and Grapes

Most of the fruit picking and orchard vacancies are filled through Specialized Orchard Contractors like Everlasting Agricultural Management (EAM). They have an “Application Form for Fruit Picking Job Seekers” available on their website.

Hostel accommodation, camping and caravan sites are all available at Plunkett Orchards. Backpackers buy food at the local supermarket and prepare their own meals in the communal kitchens. Facilities include clean showers and toilets, communal kitchen (including fridges, ovens, cook tops, microwaves, crockery, cutlery, saucepans), BBQ area, TV room, laundry with coin-operated washing machines and wireless internet access.
