Fruit Picking South Australia, a grape picking mecca for backpackers

Fruit Picking South Australia, this area has a lot of wineries, and grape picking is quite physically hard work, and often the weather is very warm during summer. South Australia is an area which has a lot of fruit picking work for backpackers, and the backpacker accommodation in the area is setup for fruit pickers. South Australia has a lot of wineries where they need pickers but the area is also famous for Stone Fruits, Citrus, Berries and Cherries.

Picking Dates:

January - April - Grape picking
May to February - Citrus
May to August - Grape Vine Pruning
January to April - Apples/pears
November to March - Stone Fruits
All year – mixed vegetable production and processing
