fruit picking / rugby team

My boyfriend and I are looking to do some rural work/fruit picking from January to March/April 2012. He is a keen rugby player and would like to go somewhere there is a local rugby team (fairly decent level of rugby) where he can play. Any ideas or recommendations of where we can look?!
