fruit picking for australians

Do you have to be a backpacker I am Australian and would just love to do picking for a few months ?

I am an Australian and had no problem with staying at working backpacker hostels and getting work. There are only a couple of working backpacker hostels I came across that don't like Australians staying there. you should do it, it was a really good experience.
