Fruit Picking Australia

Hi, I intend to go to Australia next January and stay there for four months.I was planning on doing some fruit catching to earn some money. My problem is that I'm Portuguese and therefore I can't apply for a working holliday visa. Is there any way to get around this problem? I'd appreciate the help.

A student visa with permission to work is he only way around it, there are some really cheap courses around that offer a student visa, just do a google search.
