The majority of the backpacker hostels can be found in Fortitude Valley, New Farm, Paddington, Petrie Terrace and the West End.
The city has alot of Theatres including the Lyric Theatre and the Playhouse Theatre which are part of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre located at South Bank. The city and surrounding suburbs have a cosmopolitan feel with a vibrant street cafe scene and a great climate.
