Best picking areas / pay

by Ben
(Seoul, South Korea)

I'm a teacher right now in Seoul, Korea, and am considering traveling to Australia after my contract is over in Nov 2012. I know, a long way off, but I am trying to figure out what various plans may be feasible sooner rather than later.

I've been told that Tasmania is a good place to work picking cherries, and the season seems to align with when I could start (December). It doesn't have to be Tasmania, just somewhere where I can find a job and ideally with good pay.

So any suggestions as to where I should work and what places offer the best pay for December / January? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

I would be looking at cherries If I was you, if you can get on a farm they pay good money. Try and do some research about South Australia also.
