Australian citizen looking for casual job

Hi! My name is Jacky and my dad will soon be retiring from the Council after 42yrs of service. He however would love to do some casual work and is a very hard worker. I was wondering if these fruit picking jobs would be available to him too? From what ive seen on various websites, they have only talked about backpackers and foreigners working these jobs, hence why I ask the question if these fruit picking jobs would also be available to my dad. Yes fruit Picking work would be available for your dad. This site is really set-up for backpackers who want to stay at working backpacker accommodation.

If I was your father I would go and talk to each farmer personally and try and get a job that way, they would most probally prefer to hire someone around the same age as them.
